A couple of years ago the president of the community of communes of the Grand Guéret, Eric Correia suggested that farmers in the Creuse to grow cannabis for therapeutic purposes.



I doubt that it'll be grown outside but it could mean a variety of new jobs including some in STEM.

What do you think about local farmers growing a bit of weed?

a century ago, hemp was apparently rather widely grown in Creuse, tho mostly for its fiber. The former mayor of Crocq restored an old moulin á chanvre not far from Crocq, and there's a nice walk to visit it. Look here.

When we're in France, we avoid cannabis, but now we're back in California, we can buy it everywhere.....
