Limousin Wind Energy Policy

This could be of some interest as to where future turbines could be sited.

Le schéma régional éolien

We already have one near us, personally I have no issues with it, but I know it was a hot topic for my parents in the UK.

That's a pretty useful document. I'm located in a "green area" so I suppose I may have some of these in my view at some point, but I suppose it also means that I have reasonable conditions for one of my own - which might be interesting.

I've updated the link as the website have updated their information and changed the documents name.

Looks like I am just on the edge although by the time they get round to it I will probably be dead and gone :)

Wish I had faith in this eco stuff but when you hear the limited life span of these wind turbines, the concrete they use. Same with recycling when you hear that the crisis has stopped waste stations in places like Brazil etc taking it in and then you see programs of them dumping it in third world countries. Same with these so called dual cars.

You do feel that this is all just lip service and not a real effort to improve things.

I often wonder why they do it? Does anyone know?
