Typical Bank Holiday weather
by edmoraz • Sat 01 May 2010 18:18

Yet another typical bank holiday weekend weather wise here in norther England. Its not raining but the wind is icy cold.

I hope the other Pont noirers are having better weather.

Ps and to make matters worse there is snooker all day on the TV.

Very overcast with the threat of showers, but if you were to look at Lachainemeteo, we've the prospect of several days of rain and some of it heavy. Not so good.

Nice yesterday near Chenerailles but cold and showery today. The village walk was held in near perfect temperatures, so no one was too hot and the lack of rain meant that for the first time for years we were not occasionally ankle-deep in mud. I was warm enough in a jumper and gilet.

PS: I don't want to spoil your day but the weather forecast is awful with 0 degrees C on Wednesday. A bit early for Saints de Glace but maybe there is worse to come!
