October in the Creuse
by edmoraz • Mon 31 Aug 2009 17:11

We are unable to have our usual 2 weeks in September this year and are over the first two weeks in October. Having never visited in October before can anyone advise on the type of clothing I need to pack. Is it t-shirt weather or fleece weather? Also does anyone know of any events that may be worth a visit.

Thanks

I am a hardy northerner so the temperatures look quite balmy to me especially the wet summer we have had here. I dont think we have needed our sun block since our last visit to the Creuse in June.I have to say you come a long way for your hols.

It appears that any good weather scheduled for Lancashire this summer got re-routed to central France. I hope, for your visit to Creuse, that the first part of October continues this tendency.
Yep, northern California is rather a long hop from Creuse, but we now only have to do it once a year each way....
