Lockdown cuisine
by Creusebear • Mon 13 Jul 2020 18:05
All of this enforced time at home has encouraged more cooking. I don't think we have ever eaten so well! Although the inevitable increase in girth needs attention! I am usually rather a pedestrian, everyday cook so I am feeling quite pleased with myself. :egypt:
So far I have made:
  • rice pudding
  • gravadlax
  • foccacia bread
  • baked camembert with crusty bread, crudités and cold meats - not strictly cooking but delicious nevertheless!
  • ginger marmalade
and I have my eye on trying pork pies.
What new recipes have you discovered/tried in Lockdown?

I've tried and enjoyed all of those (although I'm not very keen on stuff with hot cheese). I think our cooking hasn't changed much in lockdown although we are eating more raw fruit, veg and nuts and cutting out more pre-processed items.
