I recently downloaded a free ap called 'duolingo' and have been chugging along qiite nicely until I got to the plural possession section as in 'our children have his cats". I cant get the hang of it can anyone help with an easy solution that my old tired brain will retain.

I can't help with the grammar question, but I tried the duolingo app today and it is pretty good and as I'm working through the basics just now its not that difficult.

Have tried that one but I now am ploughing through an app called memrise. It's a free app and works on repetition. I'm still only on the beginners and it's got loads of content. They also have an intermediate and advanced lessons.

'our children have his cats".
nos enfants ont ses chats - I think. But my grammar is more by luck than judgement. Have you looked at 'about France' ? It has some step by step exercises and check up quizes. http://french.about.com/od/pronouns/
