The Marché Gratuit des Combrailles comes to Auzances on Sunday April 17, at the Salle des Fêtes 10.00 - 17.00, the first time this event has been held in the Creuse. What is it? An event open to everyone offering the opportunity to donate or take items with no money changing hands. Clothes, books, household items, small items of furniture, toys and, for spring, seeds and plants. Everything is welcome as long as it is in a usable condition (except weapons, toxic or illegal substances, live animals). Bring anything you no longer need and browse the tables to find something you would like to take away (you can take without bringing too!) At lunchtime there is a "repas espagnole" - a shared meal to which you are welcome to contribute. Crepes, coffee and other refreshments also available - just donate an amount you feel appropriate to help cover costs.
During the day there will be craft activities for children (and the young at heart!), at 14.00 a discussion over coffee about the ethos of the Marché Gratuit, and a rock/punk band, Sang Conteste, at 15.00.

Look out for the posters in and around Auzances. Come and participate, give a new life to your and others' unwanted items, even help out if you have the time, tell your friends and neighbours. We hope to see you there.
