Re: What is your property missing?

by amandaandclint • Sun 13 Jan 2008 11:16

... Us too. Our breadoven felldown in 2000 (according to the neighbours) and the previous owners decided to use the stones for other things... shame really. Would love a stream too ( I can see a common theme ). Have a few springs but could take some work to get them all running in the same direction...

by amandaandclint • Tue 01 Jan 2008 18:04

My Dogs are thinking of visiting the UK (to catch the last of the January Sales and stock up on Bonio's) and they are wanting to know an approximate cost of getting their checks with the vets before they go. Does anyone out there know what region the cost is for getting them flea'ed and tick checked...

by amandaandclint • Thu 06 Dec 2007 10:30

Morning All We have recently had a few visits from our neighbours cows and they seem to have taken a liking to our privet hedge. So, at the moment, it is all snapped or half chewed. The main trunk/stems are fine so, rather than the normal trimming, is it OK at this time of year to cut back right dow...

Re: brocante

by amandaandclint • Sun 02 Dec 2007 18:06

Hi Jezj We have been on the look out too for that Brocante. Even thought that maybe it was a small one but they used camera magic to make it look huge :D We asked about it at the Gueret Tourist office some time ago and they said that it was just a case of luck - some brocantes have lots of stalls .....

Re: Is there still a need for registered builders in La Creu

by amandaandclint • Thu 29 Nov 2007 20:43

Go for it & register. There are loads of people out there constantly looking for a good trustworthy builder. I've seen your craftmanship & you shouldn't be disheartened as there's always room for a builder that has experience rather than - as you say - ones that have read it in a book type thing. Wh...

I need to 'generate' some help / advice please

by amandaandclint • Mon 19 Nov 2007 09:10
