It looks like the website has been suspended, which is a bit unfortunate. The B&B was up for sale (you can still find the details in the Directory).

Re: maladie de pick

by Dave • Wed 21 Jun 2017 13:06

I had not heard of Pick's Disease (or frontotemporal dementia) before. It doesn't sound too pleasant. I can't really comment on whether President Trump has a neurological disorder but he does at least seem to find focusing on and expressing one single train of thought to be somewhat difficult. Replacing your bookmark with a new one is a good idea. Many problems when logging in can be cured by deleting the Pont Noir cookies or you browser cache. I'm glad that you kept at it and managed to eventually log yourself in. :)

Re: Creuse News?

by Dave • Thu 15 Jun 2017 21:37

Thanks, that's interesting and although partly a shame, it is nice to think that the original owner who put the effort in was able to sell up first, rather than it just folding. Running something like that is a tremendous effort I expect and often underestimated. It was a great source for local even...

Firstly apologies for the lateness of the reply (the post approval process didn't flag this post until after the upgrade so it was missed). You do need to use use a fitting with an appropriate IP rating for the location, or zone, where it will be placed. The nearer the fitting is to a water source l...

Does anyone know what happened to Creuse News? The website seems to have been taken over by a nordic shopping site.

Re: Tarte au citron

by Dave • Mon 12 Jun 2017 23:24

You know these definitely seem to be out of favour lately, at least I haven't seen a small one for sale anywhere for a while and I quite missing them.

Perhaps they are out of fashion atm? :unamused:

If you are being logged out after each visit when you've checked the box to stay logged in this is most likely to be a issue with the new secure cookies clashing with the old ones. To fix this you can either remove the cookies from your browser cache or delete the browser cache entirely, after that ...

... In Wilmington, Delaware, it's illegal to put pants on a cat.
Said virtdave
IMO this is a good law to have and should be extended to dressing up pets in general.

Re: Breathtest

According to www.securite-routiere.gouv.fr (and many other sources) the law is still in force but there is no fine. So yes, you legally have to carry an unused alcohol testing kit but the fine for not carrying one (€11) has been suspended indefinitely.

I've never had a kit myself.
