Carpet

by Martin • Mon 23 Jan 2017 11:43

Hi, I know the bricos sells carpet of sorts, particularly the cheapish hessian/corded stuff we want but I can't find it on their websites(s) I understood the French for carpet is "tapis" but doesn't come up when the site is searched.....or at least not floor covering type. Any ideas?

So anyway, to quote John Cleese.... We moved in on 7th as planned although we had some removal company issues and half of our stuff didn't make it! They had to make a second trip! Wood burner going almost 24 hours and 3 weeks later the temperature is starting to get comfortable. As for the weather, ...

Hi Jay, We are in Le Montaureux, not far from you. Bought 6 years ago and camped inside for most of the time, first major thing we had done was the fosse. We had Russell Waite do this and he did a great job for us. (RSW Enterprises, more details if you need). We are still less than glamorous as we o...

We want an in-ground pool and have been quoted around 20-23k from a couple of sources but not particularly local, if was more local could reduce the costs added for travelling.

by Martin • Mon 01 Sep 2014 15:44

Hello all, I am thinking of putting one of the cylindrical water heaters seen in the Brico that runs overnight, output to taps and shower. Are they a simple mains pressure cold in and hot out or do they need pressure requlators or anything special. They seem to much like fancy uk water tank with imm...

by Martin • Mon 01 Sep 2014 15:39

We have decided (I was not given a choice) to install a swimming pool, I don't fancy doing it myself so wondered if anyone knows of a local company that can do the job at a reasonable cost.
