Hi, you can get both easily. Bicarb from either a supermarket or pharmacy (often in the supermarket its with the cleaning products rather than the baking section).

Its a bit of a different situation but our top up helath insurance has been compulsory since 1 Jan 2010. If you are employed in agriculture in Creuse and have MSA as your caisse, then if you didnt have a complémentaire on 1 Jan it was taken out for you with Groupe Agrica - you have no say in the mat...

We have UK rental income so are declaring this on form 2044. Can we deduct mortgage interest payments relating to the rental house at line 250 of that form? I...

When we registered at the vet in Aubusson, he looked at our pet passport,told us that in France it was annual, but that our passport was valid until the date on it. So for the first jab, ours is longer than a year and then after that we are going to do annual if in France.

Hi VicH Not sure about hourly garage rates but we have compared a few parts for our renault scenic recently and they were about the same UK and France. Although when we were replacing headlamps in our RH car, the part was cheaper in France. Maybe depends on which bit you are buying so worth research...

We all went sledging on Hogmanay last year at Mont Dore - kids had a ball but me the most. There's designated sledging area.
