Oh dear, that's a matter of opinion, and it will be the insurance company's opinion which counts. It IS possible to have fire fire start in a liner and for it to spread beyond it.
Worth saying that in my experience (only on 3 stoves) a liner is much better because it draws better.
Enjoy your wood !

The new colour is really oppressive now to the point where it is no longer a pleasure to read !!! I normally look at the site a couple of times (min) each day, and it is now hard work, so I'm much less likely to bother. That would be a shame, for me at least. Am I the only one ? Doubt it !

A real shame. To take a longer view, could you maybe get hold of the wood fom it, and in return either give the price of, or better still use the value to plant two more elsewhere ? Won't fix that view, but it might make you feel better !!!!

There is also the Croix Rouge at Gueret, best phone ahead or call to see the times/days they are open. Our local one is always busy and crying out for halfway decent stuff to pass on to those less fortunate. Sorry you are going back to UK, hope it works out, France isn't right for everyone ! Good luck

I'm sure it's old hat by now, but worth a mention. This morning had a really lifelike email from Paypal wanting to help me sort out a problem with my account, and for security reasons asking for bank credit card and password details...... A really good effort !!!
Nowhere safe ?

Not so different from the UK really... Politicians building themselves a grandstand on which to stand and shout, to make an impression, or make believe they are actually doing something useful. Then a little opposition, and the politician turns around , changes his/her mind, and shouts about somethi...

If you were a resident, paying income tax here, then you get a further benefit by way of a tax offset on such expenditure. But I don't think there is any residence issue because his reduction is applied at the point of sale.

Before you decide about that I suggest you speak to your local supplier of wood stoves. Certainly up to last year there was a financial incentive for installing appliances to burn renewables, which meant that the VAT was at 5 rather than 19.6 percent, an enormous saving, but ONLY if fitted by a prof...

There is a perfectly fine car park at the station, hard standing and lights, also inspected from time to time by staff. You have to pre book on line at www.resaplace.com . It is not the car park immediately in front of the station where the buses are, but immediately to your left if you standing out...

I would be very interested to hear what you consider to be a good price - over here (Auzances sector) I seemed to have to pay 40 euros plus plus per cu m. to get any decent wood when I was buying it

Breathalysers, and how hot does it get in your car ?
I managed to get a box, and on the side it says that it needs to be kept under 40 degrees.
