I only ask as we have tried all sorts of traps and I think I can say 'hand on heart' that Mr mole that lives in our garden must be the brainiest mole in the land... Every different trap we have bought and...

Re: Carrying - Roof Racks ?

by danny • Tue 24 Jul 2007 21:16

Anyone know? Are there any restrictions on what can be carried on a car roof rack (using them sensibly of course). The only items I have seen carried are, in addition to roof boxes, a few 2m lengths of wood and a rather haphazardly bound up, bundle of bags of someone's belongings. No-one carrying l...

I thought we've not had a good summer so far but after seeing the damage some folk have had to put up with it makes me re-think. 8O

Clearing the flower plot

by danny • Thu 21 Jun 2007 22:58

At last after nearly a week we've managed to clear the flower plot, I planted 50 dahlia in April/may and due to all this rain the weeds have had a field day but the plot looks much better now and I can see some smashing blooms already. Its just not true how much or should I say how quickly you fill ...

Ive read with interest the two ways of thinking on this subject and if I may would like to add mine.
