I have not had a look at the link provided but there is a good chance that you will be after the 'Bulletin Numero 3' from the French 'Republique Francaise Ministere De La Justice'. Its free to get, you just write to them asking for it and they post one to you in about a week. I think I sent a photoc...

Also, in our area between you and Boussac there has been a lot of roof damage - some buildings having 2 - 3m holes. Having kept my eye on this, I thought I would just say that I agree with what Dave is saying regarding the situation. It is hard to define certain aspects and obviously if this was a 'yes or no' issue then I am assuming that this topic would have fallen on waste ground and not been given any thought...

I also have to say I agree with Bobby & Blaudeix. Though I agree that it is useful for people to find out what is going on in the area, I do feel that certain posters get away with a considerable amount more than others. I am not picking on anyone in particular so please do not take it to be this, b...

We had a similar problem with different vets (UK and French).
Just do what ever DEFRA say as they are the ones that say what is and isn't allowed in to the UK.
We get our boys done yearly now just in case.
Our dogs are also very nice

When we had problems with CA in Gouzon, we wrote to the head office in Clemont Ferrand (I think). We also sent a copy of the letter to the Bank Manager in Gouzon (all recorded delivery). Part of out letter to them explained that we were making an on-line diary of the situation on numerous Ex-pat for...

I would agree with Edmoraz We have used Peugeot in Gueret quite a few times now and they have been great every time. We last used them when the window cable went on our old landrover. The LR dealer in montlucon wanted to chanre 490 euros. The Peogeut place in Gueret did it all for 180 euros. Obvious...

See the B&B accommodation in the Directory.
I would recommend 'Maison Le Verger' but I think we are probably not in your chosen area

Just out of interest, is that hits or visitors? I only ask as we discussed the stats on our various websites with a couple of web designers a while back. They all explained to us that 'visitors' is what is important as hit counters just count the amount of data / images /avator viewed. (eg. if your ...

Thanks for that Mike, we were in Auchan a few weeks back and they had proper (english style) bacon in the deli section. When we went back it was not there, does anyone know if they were just trialing it or was it simply sold out? We also visit Carrefour for Cheddar as they stock two types and think ...

If it means less accidents then they should do all they can to reduce speeding. I agree that when driving up to Calais the speeding cars are mostly UK registered... But if you remember to take a look when you are on the otherside of the water when you drive in the UK, it will be all the French, Dutc...

Hi All We are just in the process of selling a vehicle and we contacted our insurance people to ask what they need to cancel the policy. They asked for a copy of the 'cerificat de cession d'un vehicule' which is fine... but they also asked for a signed and dated 'cross vendu'. The problem is, I dont...

Just a quick mention about Recorded Delivery from the UK. It does not work from our experience. We have a lot of post from the UK and after a few problems we asked at our local post office about the fact that some stuff never arrives and other stuff never needs to be signed for. Apparently only abou...

Might be worth having a chat with your local farmer/neighbour.
Many french chaps would happily chop down your tree of they can keep the wood.
Might cost you a bottle of whisky too
