Re: Rugby World Cup 2019

England are though to the semi finals.

Sadly Wales have knocked out France in their quarter final but at least I won't have the stress of who to cheer for in an England - France match.

Rugby World Cup 2019

by Dave • Fri 18 Oct 2019 15:24

Is anyone following the Rugby World cup this year? Who are you supporting?

Both England and France are in the quarter finals and if they both win that and their semi finals they could face off in the Final.

Hello! What's this?

by Dave • Thu 17 Oct 2019 17:08

It has been a long time since Pont Noir had any active columns so I thought that it was about time that I wrote a column myself. An introduction now seems inevitable… We first came to the Creuse in 1996, really liked it and after several more visits to look at an increasingly desperate, bedraggled a...

Re: Gilets Jaunes

I have to say that I personally haven't been caught up in anything, but have seen people at roundabouts with banners. I do have some sympathy for some of the protesters - there are many people in the Creuse that only just can make ends meet and even a small rise in taxes or fuel costs will really im...

Wild Food. What do you pick?

by Dave • Wed 02 Oct 2019 14:51

This is a great time of year to forage in the woods and fields of Creuse. There's mushrooms, berries, nuts and fruits all around. Have you picked and eaten anything from the wild? Personally I've picked mushrooms, chestnuts, hazelnuts, blackberries, apples, pears and a few raspberries from all over ...

Re: Devinez la chanson anglaise par les paroles en français !

by Dave • Wed 25 Sep 2019 18:11
