Re: Car Share Scheme

by howfeness • Fri 08 Oct 2010 12:11

Car Share Scheme

by howfeness • Thu 07 Oct 2010 20:57

In my utopian vision, someone who is resident could manage such a scheme, where a group of people could get together to ...

Hi I have a bank account with Bank Tarneaud in France and use it to pay bills etc. The questions I have is, would it be better to transfer all our holiday cash to that account straight from our English one, or would it be better to change the cash first and just pay it in when we get there. I really...

Hi All I am not very techno savvy, but know that someone out there will know the answer to this. I have an internet dongle, that means I can use my laptop on the move, but it is only useful in the UK and does not work in France. Do you know if it is possible to buy the same thing in France, so that ...

by howfeness • Sat 01 Nov 2008 16:11

well. I have been SPANC ed and yes he did hand over a bunch of forms. He was a lovely guy with a snazy p.c. He asked question, looked at our existing one and told us t was installed in 70's but did not conform. He gave us good advice on what we needed to get and said we could do it ourselves or get ...

I read with interest all these posts and I am expecting a vsist from the SPANC man at the end of the month. We have what appears to be 2 very large brick built tanks in our cellar with sand and stone in them. One filters into the other through a grey pipe an then god knows what happens to it. I do n...

please be aware

Just a note to everyone who takes a pet on holiday with them, not to become to relaxed about living in the countryside. The roads are so quiet and a lot of houses have land around them and it is easy to think the danger for pets is small. This summer we were devastated to loose our dog in a road acc...

Hey Brian Thanks for the info but after a huge storm we did not manage to get it up and running again. We really need a less fragile position for it and some techno savvy would help too.
