Thanks Dave for the contribution you make to the site, updating information whenever needed etc. I for one read the topics and use the site when needed to ask questions on various subjects, and have found many useful bits from members. I hope the site does not fold and hope to see it remain. Wynne

I had a good tip from our local B&Q store, when resealing used paint put some cling film on top of the paint seal and store upside down in case of frost. Then if it attacks it will be on the bottom when you turn back up the correct way to reuse. Have done this and when we return in March I will see ...

Hi Yes did it a few years ago, good crossing with plenty to do, good food. Be prepared for a longer drive up to the ferry from the Creuse, leave plenty of time to get there and do not do what I did leave the Creuse when it was snowing and it took so much longer to get to the port. Hello, can anybody tell me whether there is somewhere I can purchase a Free Sat system for the house we are having completed, in the Cruese. Can we purchase and bring one from the UK, we want to have the facility to watch English and French TV. Any help would be appreciated.
